Pastor Wilbur Baker Jr., a dedicated leader from Milwaukee, is the Senior Pastor and Founder of NorthShore Christian Church. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Work with a minor in Law from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater, where he also initiated the campus Bible study "Living Examples" and directed the Gospel Choir. Ordained in May 2000, he began a decade-long journey in Montgomery, Alabama, serving as Music Pastor for three congregations. In 2010, after completing the HRM School of Ministry under Dr. Hart Ramsey, he was ordained for Pastoral Ministry, solidifying his commitment to serve the church community.
Since opening NorthShore Christian Church on April 3, 2011, Pastor Baker has infused the congregation with a fresh perspective on God’s Word and a passion for outreach, fostering spiritual growth and a welcoming culture. His leadership has turned NSCC into a beacon of hope within Milwaukee. Alongside his pastoral role, he is an accomplished guest speaker and lecturer, and a member of Harvest Church Ministries International under Bishop Randy Borders, which connects a vast network of churches. With over 23 years in the Biotech and Pharmaceutical industry, he currently serves as Director of Corporate Accounts. He and his wife, First Lady Karen Baker, are proud parents of six children, exemplifying their commitment to family and community.
